Billing

Colony Cloud billing is based on a seat plan. Seats correspond to concurrent worker slots — the number of pipeline issues Colony can work on simultaneously across your organization. Billing is monthly.

Your current plan and seat count are visible under Settings → Plan.

  • Seat count is the number of concurrent worker slots your plan supports. One seat equals one pipeline issue running at a time. If you have ten seats, Colony can develop, review, and merge up to ten issues simultaneously.
  • Changing your seat count takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Contact support if you need an immediate change.
  • Managed worker capacity is included in your seat plan. Registering BYO workers (see Workers (BYO)) does not add to your seat count — BYO workers draw from the same concurrent-issue pool as managed workers.

Day and month cost are visible on the Operator Home dashboard:

  • Cost today — LLM token spend by Colony agents since midnight UTC today.
  • Cost (30-day) — rolling total for the past 30 days, visible on the Executive dashboard.

These figures reflect actual LLM token consumption across all Colony agents (analyzer, planner, developer, reviewer, merger) working on issues in your organization. Usage is updated on each dashboard poll.

Monthly invoices are generated automatically and available under Settings → Billing:

  • Click any invoice row to view the itemized breakdown.
  • Click Download PDF to save a copy for your records.
  • Invoices are also emailed to the billing address on file.

Invoices cover the prior calendar month. The first invoice for a new organization is prorated from the date of account creation.

To update your payment method, billing address, or billing email:

  1. Open Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Update payment method to change the card on file.
  3. Click Update billing address to change the address that appears on invoices.
  4. Click Update billing email to change the address that receives invoice emails.

Changes take effect on the next billing cycle. Contact support if you need to update billing details for a past invoice.

To cancel your Colony Cloud subscription:

  1. Open Settings → Plan.
  2. Click Cancel plan and follow the confirmation dialog.

After cancellation:

  • Access to Colony Cloud remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • At the end of the billing period, all worker tokens are revoked, enabled repositories become inactive, and the organization is locked.
  • Pipeline history and issue data are retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted.
  • No partial-month refunds are issued.

To reactivate a cancelled organization, contact support. If the 90-day retention window has not expired, pipeline history can be restored.
